Here's a tip from Mark Johnson if you want your cats in on the fun with
you 1/32 cars without them getting hurt...
I have three cats that live with me (or should I say I live with them) and they love to watch my 1/32 scale cars zoom around the track. I thought of a way to let them get in on the fun in a safer way, both for them and my cars. What I do is I take a length of toilet paper (about 3 feet) and tape it to the rear of a car (preferably a rally car because it doesn't have the sharp edges of a F-1 car). I but the car and it's new "tail" on the track and run it at lower speeds to give the cats a chance to grab the trailing paper. I chose toilet paper because if the cat grabs it the paper will simply tear off in single sheets, so I wont have to risk my car being ripped off the track. They love it and it's a blast watching them! I just thought I would share that little fun info with you. Pass it along if you wish. "Slot car cats" around the world will have another reason to love racing!.. |
