RAD TRAX 1/32 & 1/24 ALUMINUM CARRYING CASEFeatures for Item #35777:
Overall Rating:

Since it seems that the 1/32 slot car companies have died down their releases for the Summer months this time around, I figured I would review something a little different. Rad Trax has decided to offer these very special slot car carrying cases. Well, what would you say is so special about these? Read on to find out.
Take a moment, sit back and think about what you mostly see when people are transporting their slot cars with. Most of the time you will see fishing tackle boxes. While most of these are ok and there is nothing wrong with them, would you want something different to use to go to your favorite track be it a club or commercial raceway. The ordinary slot car tackle or pit box will not do. A wooden box is different but those are pretty bulky and heavy. Here we have something shiny and unique.
The case is padded and features adjustable dividers so you can use it for 1/24 and 1/32 slot cars. The top section has spots for your various slot car tools like wrenches, oil, axles, etc. and you can pop your controller in there too. The only downside to this is that these is no little zipper pockets to keep small items in there. You can probably find some small parts cases at the local hardware or craft store for your wheels, axle nuts, screws, braid, etc.
When using it for normal use like 1/24 lexan or standard 1/32 cars with and without their cases, you can use it without worrying about damage from transporting them. What really sets this case apart is the easy ability to lock it. This way you can keep your slot cars safe before the race. You also get a nice carrying handle and the longer piece that snaps on so you can put it on your shoulder. The case isn't at all the heavy. It would not be a bother for you to use for taking your cars to the track for some fun racing.
I am giving this 4 out of 5 Slot Car Garage Best Buy rating...all in all a very nice slot car case for your slot car duties. Looks nice too. You can leave it at home under your slot car track table or near your race area since it locks too to keep away the people who like to take or touch things - buy one today from Rad Trax - www.radtrax.com
