

Tuning The Ninco Mercedes CLK GTR

If you happen to own of these cars you will find that the rear end likes to slide, why you ask? Because the magnet is quite far forwards in the car relative to other Ninco offerings. This means that the magnet is holding the front of the car down more and the back has therefore got less grip.

However, a simple “tweeker” magnet will fit right behind the motor, there is a slight hitch that the magnet will not be central because the crown gear fowls on it. therefore it must be positioned as per the picture above.
The magnet doesn't offer loads more grip but a more substantial amount which now means that the car will stay straight.
Also, while we’re talking about the CLK, if you cut off the upright prongs, as in the picture below, this seems to aid the handling and cut down on some noise too.
