2003 Dino Derby
By Jim Cunningham

Just like the real thing, Steve's Peterbuilt was hard on tires and needed a recap by the end of the race. He built a brass chassis and used belts to drive all 8 rear wheels.

Jim entered too many cars to run them all, his TQ "Prism" an open car built in 1973. The Ferrari uses a Dynamic aluminum chassis and Pittman motor.

Wonderful detail on Toto's Porsche 908:

26D motor in a light package!

.

Toto's super Ford GT was driven by Lulu.

The Purple People Eater! Toto again!

Prize on Saturday race on Sunday...

Fun on two wheels. Now if I can only get the tailgate to spark without flipping out the track owner!

Lulu drove this Talbot Lago. The hood release is on the dashboard!

.

Santee Track owner and Race Director Wayne Starnaud lent this all original car to young hotshot Derek Peck. This always was my favorite of the Dynamic "Handling Bodies..." The car needs a little tuning and a miniature John Surtees.
