Cartrix had a hit on their hands with the BMW Z3 Roadster 1/32 slot car and their line of super fast motors. This is their second 1/32 scale slot car to follow up on their smashing success of the BMW Z3 Roadster. The Z3 was one of the fastest and smoothest running / handling 1/32 slot cars I ever ran on my slot car track next to the Pro-Track Spyder chassis unit. The detail on this 1/32 slot car is similar to FLY and really shines out from the rest of the crowd. The metallic deep blue paint on this body is really done nice without any major flaws in it with smooth clear coat. They also used a full plastic windshield frame with separate glass, separate windshield wipers, detailed interior with nicely done dash, good driver figure with helmet, and five spoke wheels.
Looking at the chassis, you will see it has a sidewinder set-up instead of the inline one that Z3 Roadster had. You will find the usual traction magnet and motor as most other fast 1/32 slot cars have. The set-up is still decent and makes for a fast ride. The car sticks to the track pretty well without much trouble such as jumping out of the slot or fish tailing. While it might be as fast the BMW, it is still fun to drive. The tires grip well and you won't have trouble getting a driving rhythm for this car.
This car gets my SCG Best Buy 5 out of 5 rating for the excellent detail on the body and chassis plus the great handling of the chassis. You will get good speed and power and handling out of it without any fuss from fishtailing or jumping out of the slot. It is also not glued down to the track so you will still need to drive it a bit but you will have fun doing it. Highly recommended.
P.S. You can always experiment and pop in a more powerful motor which I might do later.
